Brief Biography (English)
Dr Ifeoma Nwafor is an Animal Scientist with a special interest in Animal Nutrition, Products, and Health. Currently, she is a Lecturer in Animal Production and is engaged in interdisciplinary research in the fields of Ethnoveterinary and Ethnobotany. Coupled with her academic qualifications, Dr Nwafor is a trained Food Safety Supervisor by the Australian Institute of Food Safety. Her research is focussed on providing safe animal products from farm to fork and seeking nutritional solutions to assist smallholder livestock farmers to combat helminthic infections using indigenous medicinal plants.
