Dr Pauline Busisiwe Nkosi is the Head of Department and Senior Lecturer at the Durban University of Technology in South Africa. She Leads the Radiography Department, Lectures modules in the Radiotherapy Programme and General Education and also Supervises health services related research projects in undergraduate and postgraduate masters and doctoral students.
Dr Nkosi has successfully Supervised 3 masters and 2 doctoral graduates and is currently supervising 7 masters and 6 doctoral students. She has 6 Publications, all in international journals. Her Research interests are in integrative cancer treatment, nursing and public health services.
She gained her Clinical Experience of 28 years while working at public hospitals in Gauteng province as the Head of Department in Radiography (Diagnostic) and Chief Radiographer, Treating patients with cancer in the Radiotherapy Department. Prior to this, she worked as a Diagnostic Radiographer taking X-rays for diagnostic purposes. Dr Nkosi currently resides in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal province, South Africa.
