Professor Kennedy Njenga, PhD, is an Associate Professor in the Department of Applied Information Systems at the University of Johannesburg, South Africa. His research focuses on the methodological, philosophical, and behavioral aspects of privacy and information security within information systems. He also maintains a strong interest in advanced information security approaches, particularly those involving artificial intelligence and the Internet of Things (IoT). Prof Njenga is a member of the Association for Information Systems (AIS) and the IFIP Working Group 8.11/11.13 on Information Systems Security, actively contributing to global discussions on secure and ethical information systems practices. His work has appeared in reputable academic journals, including the European Journal of Information Systems (EJIS), the Interdisciplinary Journal of Information, Knowledge, and Management (IJIKM), the African Journal of Information Systems (AJIS), and Social Science.
