Olejanki Ngwenyama is Research Professor in the Department of Information Systems at the University of Cape Town (UCT) and Professor of the Ted Rogers School of Management at Ryerson University, Toronto. Ngwenyama’s research is ranked in the Top 100 IS Researchers by AIS (1990-2016). He has supervised more than 40 PhD students, and lectured at many international doctoral summer schools and doctoral consortia since 1989. He has published more than 100 scholarly articles and several books. He is on the editorial boards of many top international journals in information systems including European Journal of Information Systems, Scandinavian journal of Information Systems and Journal of Information Technology for development. He is also Visiting Research Professor in the Department of Computer Science at Aalborg University; Docent (Non-Resident Research Professor) in Computer Science & Information Systems at University of Jyväskylä, Finland; Professorial Research Fellow of Information Systems and Business Analytics at Deakin University, Australia; Visiting Research Professor of Institut d’ Economie et Management de Nantes at Université de Nantes, France; Visiting Research Professor of Inter-Organizational Information Systems at the University of Münster, Gemany.
