Brief Biography (English)
Dr Arthemon Nguweneza has a background in Epidemiology and Public Health. He is currently a Postdoctoral Fellow at Stellenbosch University, contributing to the inaugural Lancet Commission on Disability and Health. Dr Nguweneza previous work includes research on sickle cell disease, as well as infectious diseases such as influenza and HIV. His current focus is on identifying health service interventions to improve health outcomes for people with disabilities. He uses systematic review methods to synthesise existing evidence and inform policy-relevant recommendations.
