Dr Christian Lambert Nguena, PhD, is a Senior Researcher and a University Assistant Professor which capitalizes 12 years of work experience; additionally, he has 10 years of Leadership and Administration with extensive work with international organizations such as the World Bank, The Nordic Africa Institute, the European Commission, the African Development Bank, the United Nations, as well as the African Capacity Building Foundation.
Dr Nguena has been selected as a Member of the Cameroon Academy of Young Scientists and has been the Secretary-General since 2018; he is also a Member of several internationally recognized scientific societies including The Econometric Society, the African Finance and Economics Association, as well as the International Economic Association. Dr Nguena is a Founding Member and President of the Association of African Young Economists (AAYE).
During his professional career, he has won many Fellowship and Research Grant Competitions and Awards including the Australian World Institute Fellowship (2008), the University of Fribourg Research Fellowship (2009), the United Nations Research Fellowship (2011), the IDRC or TrustAfrica research grant (2012), the World Bank Group Research Fellowship (2013), the International Economic Association Fellowship (2015), The “Fond de Subvention pour la Recherche” (2017). Currently, he has been selected as a Guest Researcher and Professor at the Swedish Nordic African Institute (2019).
He is the Author of several Scientific Papers Published in peer-reviewed and classified Journals and he is currently an Editorial Board Member of several ranked Journals including the Journal of Management and Sustainability and a Reviewer for African Development Review among others.
