Brief Biography (English)
Dr. Ngobese is currently a lecturer at the University of Johannesburg. Her research focuses on the nutritional characterisation of underutilised plants and developing postharvest handling procedures to extend the shelf life of crops. The work aimed at alleviating food and nutrition security challenges. The research involves improving crop cultivation conditions, identifying suitable harvesting stages, and preparing plants for food product development.
