Professor Felix Ngetich an Associate Professor of Soil Science, Environmental Impact Assessment & Audit (EIA/EA) Lead expert and a Freelance Consultant in soil science, food security, food value chains, climate change studies, greenhouse gas emissions, and general agriculture. His educational and training qualifications include PhD from Kenyatta University (2012), a Master of Science degree in Soil Science from Egerton University (2008) Bachelor of Science in Agriculture (Soil Science option) from the University of Nairobi (2004). Prof Ngetich has also participated in some relevant Short Courses: Principles & Applications of Remote Sensing and Geographic Information System (GIS), ITC, Enschede, The Netherlands, Water Footprint; Concept and Application, World Bank Institute, Washington, DC, USA, AquaCrop Model, Parameterization, calibration and validation, Cairo, Egypt. He is experienced in Geographic Information System (GIS), Internet of Things (IoT), remote sensing and spatial modelling, crop modelling, statistical (descriptive, biometrics and spatial) analysis, MatLab and IDL programming languages, among other skills necessary to work in a multi-disciplinary environment. He is also a registered Environmental Impact Assessment & Audit (EIA/EA) expert in Kenya.
