Brief Biography (English)
Dr Maulusi Nelwamondo is a Research Scientist at the South African Nuclear Energy Corporation SOC Ltd (Necsa) in South Africa. For her research, she is primarily interested in using cementitious and concrete materials for the encapsulation and immobilization of nuclear waste, as well as radiation shielding. In her projects, they evaluate the chemical and physical properties, performance, and radiation stability of concrete and cementitious materials. Dr Nelwamondo studied her undergraduates and Postgraduates in Chemistry; BSc (University of Venda), BSc Honours (University of Limpopo), MSc (University of Johannesburg) and PhD (North-West University).
