Dr Peter Ndangili is a senior lecturer of Chemistry in the school of Chemistry and material science, at the Technical University of Kenya. He has published widely in the area of electrochemical sensors and biosensors, and has attracted several research grants. Additionally, Dr Peter Ndangili has held several scientific advisory positions. These include: (i) an external examiner of undergraduate examinations, as well as masters, and PhD theses from various Kenyan and South African universities; (ii) a member of the scientific advisory committee of the Water Research Commission in South Africa for two research projects; (iii) an evaluator of 2023 and 2024 global essay competition for The International Organization for Chemical Sciences in Development, in collaboration with the Royal Society of Chemistry; (iv) member of the international scientific committee of the NanoAfrica 2024 conference; and (v) an active reviewer of journal articles and funding proposals for various journal and research funding agencies.
In 2024, Dr Ndangili received a prestigious global award fellowship by the University of St. Andrews in Scotland, United Kingdom. He is a member of the Kenya National Academy of Sciences and the African Materials Research Society.
