Brief Biography (English)
Dr Isaac N Beas is a Chemist with a background in Chemical Engineering who is passionate about applied chemistry, analysis, research and development, Quality-DOE.
His core competencies include:
- Knowledgeable in chemistry and chemical engineering including analytical, physical, inorganic, and organic chemistry
- Knowledgeable in Gasification and Pyrolysis
- Strong laboratory skills and experience in laboratory analysis, scientific research, and data analysis in heterogeneous catalysis
- Good written communication skills – authored dissertation (for MSc studies), thesis (for PhD studies), Fifteen scientific articles in peer-reviewed journals, and various technical and progress reports
- Good oral presentation skills – received awards when presenting research work at CATSA and EUROPACAT
- Good computer literate and technologically adept - Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Powerpoint), and experience in using scientific software (Origin Pro, Minitab, CasaXPS)
- Knowledgeable on DOE ( design of experiments)
