Dr Luckson Muyemeki is an air quality scientist who started his academic career with a BSc in Geography and Environmental Studies at Midlands State University in Zimbabwe. Upon completion of his degree, he taught geography at high school for two years. He then went on to complete his MSc in Geography and Environmental Management at North-West University, Potchefstroom Campus. In 2016 he enrolled for a PhD, with a focus on air quality management, which he completed in 2021. Currently, Dr Muyemeki is employed at Mamadi and Company in South Africa, as an air quality specialist. His role encompasses all aspects of air quality management research, including (but not limited to) baseline ambient air quality assessments, atmospheric impact assessments,atmospheric emission inventory development and quantification, atmospheric dispersion modelling, atmospheric risk assessments, air quality management planning and regulatory/legal requirements assistance to clients.
