Dr Fredrick Nzioka Mutua has a PhD in Materials Processing Engineering from the Centre for Civil Aviation Composites (CCAC), Donghua University, China. He received his Bachelor of Technology degree and Masters of Engineering from Moi University in Kenya and Donghua University respectively.
Dr Mutua is also a Founding Member and Director of Research and Development at TEXMAT Engineering Consultants. His Research interests include; Light engineering materials, Composite materials, Nanocomposite materials, Nanotechnology, Polymer engineering, Surface modification of materials, Spectroscopic and mechanical analysis of materials, as well as the use of bio-based resources to advance science and solve industrial problems.
Dr Mutua has Published over 20 Papers in Peer-Reviewed Journals, as well as two Patents. He has Work Experience in both Industry and Academia.
