Dr Reuben Gitonga Mutegi is a Lecturer of Educational Planning and Economics of Education, School of Education University of Nairobi. He holds a Doctorate degree in Educational Planning and a Masters degree in Educational Planning and Economics of Education from University of Nairobi. He has research bias in areas relating to education and health policies, impact evaluation, M&E, labour dynamics, inequality, intergenerational accounting, and demographic dividends. He is a team member of National Transfer Account (NTA) and Counting Women Work (CWW) global research project. He previously worked at United States International University Africa (USIUA) and currently, a member of African Centre of Excellence for Inequality Research (ACEIR) Nairobi Node working on inequality trends and diagnostic in Kenya as well as the impact of fiscal policy on inequality and poverty in Kenya.
