Dr Simon Peter Musinguzi is a veterinarian, parasitologist, molecular biologist, epidemiologist, and teacher. He is currently a Senior Lecturer of Animal Science at Kyambogo University Faculty of Agriculture, Uganda. He was born and raised in Uganda and attained his education at Makerere University (Bachelor and MSc), Kabale University (PGD), and Obihiro University in Japan (PhD). He majored in Molecular Parasitology and Epidemiology of Protozoan Diseases. He worked as a Veterinary Officer and Senior Veterinary Officer in Uganda for 12 years and served as a researcher and Teaching Assistant in Japan (National Research Centre for Protozoan Diseases, Obihiro University respectively). He has also served as Dean Faculty of Biomedical Sciences at Kampala International University (two and half years), as Senior Lecturer at Kabale University and as Lecturer at Uganda Martyrs University.
