Brief Biography (English)
Dr Benson Musinguzi, PhD, is a Chief Medical Laboratory Technician (equivalent to senior lecturer) and medical microbiologist at Muni University with over 10 years of experience in teaching, research and laboratory management. He is an expert in antimicrobial resistance studies, quality management systems and biosafety, he has led significant research into drug resistant pathogens and public health surveillance. Beyond his research, he is an international certified Biosafety/ Biosecurity Trainer and consultant. Previously, he has held academic positions at Kampala International University and King Ceasor University, focusing on laboratory innovation, research and clinical microbiology excellence.
