Brief Biography (English)
Dr Gbemisola Saibu Morounke's Research focuses on translational research (drug discovery and development), mechanism and the molecular basis of cancer and Population and Behavioral research (Epidemiological research).
Her term goal is to improve her competency in medicinal plant research by combining skills drawn from the main research fields that have so far characterized her career: Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, Pharmacognosy, Botany and Epidemiology and Epidemiology of traditional medicine used for chronic diseases such as cancer.
Dr Morounke has Contributed to reputable local and international Journals. She has also Participated in many training courses, symposia and conferences both at local and international levels.
