Brief Biography (English)

Dr Rajatheran (Sham) Moodley is a Community pharmacist in Durban, South Africa. He is recognised at the South African Pharmacy Council’s National Pharmacist of the Year in 2008 and Community Pharmacist of the Year 2019. He is an elected member on the South African Pharmacy Council (2013-2018).He is a Vice Chairperson and member of the Board of Directors at Independent Community Pharmacy Association (ICPA). He is an honorary research fellow School of Health Science at University of KwaZulu-Natal. Dr Moodley is also a Chair of National Health Insurance (NHI) Pharmacy Stakeholders Consultative Forum, Pharmacy First Forum, Codeine Care Initiative, Pharmacy Stakeholders Forum (PSF)- Pricing Regulations.He is also on Covid Vaccine Task Team at Business for South Africa (B4SA) and a member of FIP CPS Exco.
