Over the past 26 years, Dr Mabel Julia Moloi has worked in the field of Mathematics, Science, and Technology Education. She taught physical sciences for fifteen years in high school. Developed and conducted numerous workshops and seminars on Mathematics and Science related topics. Served as advisor to many student projects related to Mathematics and Science. Mentored many young teachers in their career.
Dr Moloi Served as a lecturer of engineering subjects at Rustenburg ORBIT THVET college for a one-year period. She developed and implemented a Physical Sciences curriculum for Rustenburg ORBIT THVET college. She developed and implemented Science enrichment programs for high school and college students. She developed and implemented outreach programs for disadvantaged communities. She worked with teachers in the Northwest department of education of South Africa as a subject specialist for Physical sciences for ten years. She developed and implemented physical science lesson plans for grades 10-12. Supervised a team of Physical Science subject specialists.
Dr Moloi served as a postdoctoral fellow at University of South Africa (UNISA) for one year. Presented research papers at conferences and workshops. She developed course materials for physical science courses. She developed and implemented assessment strategies for Physical Science courses. She currently lecturer at the University of the Witwatersrand, in the department of science and technology. She developed and taught various Physical Science courses. Conducted research and lectured on Physical Science topics. Mentored students in physical science courses.
She supervised Masters and Doctorate students at the University of the Witwatersrand and University of South Africa (UNISA) respectively. She wrote articles for scientific journals and published research in Physical Science. Performed laboratory experiments and conducted seminars. Presented research findings at conferences and events.
Dr Moloi is researcher at the the University of the Witwatersrand school of education. She collaborated with peers and supervisors. She developed research proposals and conducted literature reviews. Assisted in teaching classes and mentored junior students. She published three papers. She participated in international conferences and workshops. She developed and taught online courses.
