He believes in teamwork, this value has been working for him and he never settles to celebrate the first result. He always seeks the ultimate solution even when it appears impossible. These attributes can be proven by his progressive success on projects that are assigned to him. He has completed other professional courses on the Quality management system: - ISO/IEC 17025: 2017 and ISO9001, certificate level on energy-efficient management systems. He also completed a certificate on “Energy Within Environmental Constraints” through Harvard University. His experience cut across all the energy spectrum from renewable energy, energy modeling, energy trading, energy economics, energy policies, and energy management. He also has basic skills in energy financial modeling. He applied these skills when he was doing a project on financial cost-benefit analysis for renewable energy in Botswana at Botswana Institute for Technology Research and Innovation (BITRI). This project was done in collaboration with the Council for Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) in South Africa.
Mr Mogorosi has extensive experience working with anaerobic digestion (AD) systems, working in all aspects of plant design, gas production, energy modelling, techno-economic, and socio-economic aspects of AD in Botswana. He is currently doing a United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) funded project to design and implement 1000 small scale bio-gas plants in South East part of Botswana. He works as the Research engineer supporting both technical and establishing relationships with end-user. He completed a feasible study for the implementation of the 1000 plants. The methodology used for assessment was the multi-objective approach based on four domains; individual’s energy requirements, availability of substrates on-site, financial capability, and individual’s interest in the project. He is currently pursuing his PhD in Energy and Resources Engineering at Peking University in Beijing.
