Dr Cleophas Achisa Mecha is a lecturer in the department of Chemical and Process Engineering at Moi University in Kenya. His a Researcher with 10 years academic and professional experience in environment, water and renewable energy. His research interest are in the development of novel materials for water and wastewater purification (membrane technology, advanced oxidation processes, adsorption, nanotechnology), renewable energy (bioenergy, solar), and environmental impact assessment. He is supervising MSc and PhD projects in the areas of water and wastewater treatment, advanced oxidation processes, membrane technology, bioenergy and solar. He also teaches the following courses: Biomass (MSc), Renewable Energy for Sustainable Development (PhD), and Material Science and Pollution Control (undergraduate).
