Mr Tlotlego Maloka is an Airport Pavement Specialist with 17 years of experience in both the military and the civil aviation industries (airports). Mr Maloka graduated from, the University of South Africa with a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (urban and transportation), the Tshwane University of Technology with a Masters Degree in Civil Engineering (With a focus on drone technology for conducting airport pavement inspections) and is Currently completing his Doctoral Degree in Civil Engineering (with research interests in, airport pavements management systems(PMS) and Process optimisation) with the Tshwane University of Technology. He has worked as a Project Management Officer for military roads and airfield pavements for the South African Air force and is currently employed by the South African Civil Aviation Authority (SACAA) as a Specialist: Airport Civil Infrastructure, a role that is mainly responsible for safety oversight in terms of PMS on all licensed civilian airports within the borders of South Africa.
