Brief Biography (English)
Dr Hongze Luo is a principal researcher at the Council for Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) in South Africa. He received his PhD degree from the Department of Chemistry, University of the Western Cape, in 2008. His current research interest is focused on electrochemical energy storage and conversion, such as lithium-ion batteries, super-capacitors, and fuel cells. He has expertise in technology, engineering, operational and project management to achieve competitiveness through the research and development of new materials/products/technologies.
