Dr Kiboi holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Soil Science from University of Embu in Kenya, a Master of Environmental Studies (M.Env.S) in Climate Change and Sustainability from Kenyatta University in Kenya, and a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Agribusiness Management from University of Nairobi in Kenya. She has vast experience providing scientific and technical support to academic, research, capacity building, and environmental and agricultural development programs in research institutes, stakeholders and higher learning institutions. She has been a consultant on agribusiness and value chain development, environmental and agricultural improvement strategies, climate change strategies, adoption levels, desktop reviewing, surveys, farmers training, documentation, and compilation of technical and donor reports. She is experienced in designing and writing award-winning proposals and am a member of four funded multidisciplinary development and capacity-building projects.
Dr Kiboi has experience project coordination, having been the lead-fellow in two funded; ORM4Soil and National Research Foundation (NRF) projects activities. She is continually training students and stakeholders on sustainable resources management, environmental management, climate-smart agriculture, greening economy, soil fertility, and crop production. She maintain a deep interest in transforming livelihoods by actualising science, continuous acquisition, development, and application of her knowledge and skills.
