Dr Abolanle Kayode obtained his PhD in Phytochemistry from the Faculty of Pharmacy at the University of Ibadan (UI) in Nigeria. He also obtained his MSc in Nutritional Biochemistry from the same university. Dr Kayode's BSc in Biochemistry was obtained from the University of Ilorin.
His area of Research focuses on Phytotherapy and Drug discovery and development from African medicinal plants. He Teaches Biochemistry, Pharmacology, and Spectroscopy to undergraduate and postgraduate students.
Dr Kayode is an active and enthusiastic Academic Researcher with more than 20 Published Articles. He has Attended and made Paper Presentations at several scientific conferences. Dr Kayode is a Member of the Biodiversity Conservation and Medicinal Plant Research Group (UI), the Phytotherapy Research Group (UI), the Nigeria Society for Biochemistry & Molecular Biology (NSBMB), the Nigerian Society of Pharmacognosy (NSP), and the Nigerian Society for Experimental Biology (NISEB).
