Dr Omowumi Kayode commenced her academic pedigree with Bachelor of Science (BSc Honours – Second Class Upper Division), Master of Science (MSc - PhD grade) and PhD degrees respectively in Biochemistry specializing in Medicinal, Nutritional and Reproductive Biochemistry. She is a dedicated teacher and researcher. She has well over 11 years of teaching and research experience. As a testament to her academic prowess, Dr Kayode has published several research articles in refereed/peer-reviewed journals for which she is either the first author or corresponding author for over 40% of these research outputs. Dr Kayode is an active and enthusiastic academic researcher with more than 260 citations and h-index of 8 (Google Scholar). She has attended and made paper presentations at several scientific conferences both locally and internationally.
