Brief Biography (English)
Dr Todd Johnson is currently working as Lecturer at Copperbelt University in Zambia. Before joining this institution, he worked as Curator of Entomology at the Livingstone Museum for 13 years.
He earned his Bachelor of Science at the University of Zambia in Lusaka in 2003, and his PhD in Medical Virology (Arbovirology) from the University of Pretoria in April 2020, working with Prof Leo Braack.
In his thesis work, Prof Johnson utilized both qualitative and quantitative methods to improve our understanding of the ecology of especially disease vector mosquitoes in contrasting habitats of northern South Africa.
