Mr Garba Gidandawa Jibo is from Kanya town in Danko-Wasagu, local government area of Kebbi State Nigeria. He is currently employed as Lecturer II at Kebbi State University of Science and Technology, Aliero. He obtained his primary school leaving certificate at Kanya primary school, his junior secondary school certificate was at Giginya Memorial Secondary School Sokoto, then proceeded to Government Science College Birnin-Kebbi in Kebbi State where he got his Senior Secondary School Certificate in 1991. Furthermore, his first and second degrees were obtained from Usmanu Danfodiyo University Sokoto (BSc Microbiology, 2004, MSc Vet.Microbiology, 2014) respectively, and he is currently a PhD candidate at Universiti Putra Malaysia at the Department of Medical Microbiology & Parasitology Univesity Putra Malaysia. His areas of research interest and collaboration include; Bacteriology (Listeriosis), Infectious diseases, Zoonotic diseases, Biotechnology, and one health concept. Garba Jibo is married and blessed with 3 children and can speak English, Hausa, and Dakarci fluently.
