Dr Rosemary James is a Research and Statistics Expert with more than 10 years’ work experience. She is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Management Science at the Kenyatta University in Kenya, with experience in Teaching, Research and Training. Her Teaching experience spans across several institutions of higher learning focusing on Statistics, Data Analysis & Measurement, Econometric Models, Quantitative Techniques and Research Methods.
Dr James is self-motivated, has excellent Communication skills and is a team player. She holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Business (Management Science) from Kenyatta University. Her Research work, which focused on information asymmetry and credit referencing in the Kenyan Banking sector, was Awarded funding by the National Council for Science, Technology and Innovation. Dr James also holds a Master of Science (MSc) in Statistics and a Bachelor of Education (Mathematics double) both from Kenyatta University.
She has Supervised several postgraduate students at both Masters and PhD levels and has held several Administrative Positions at the university. Currently, Dr James is the Associate Dean of the School of Business and previously she was the Chairman of the Department of Management Science.
Her career objective is to engage in Research projects that contribute to sustainable development of society. To achieve this she plans to continually upgrade her skills through training, workshops, seminars and fieldwork.
