Dr Temitope Gbolahan Jaiyeola obtained a BSc degree in Mathematical Sciences (with bias in Mathematics) in 2002, MSc degree in Mathematics in 2005 and PhD degree in Mathematics in 2009 at the University of Agriculture, Abeokuta, Nigeria (now Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta, Nigeria). His MSc and PhD theses were based on the notions of "Central Loops" and "Osborn Loops" in the field of Algebra known as "Theory of Quasigroups and Loops". He has published not less than eighty (80) journal articles in international and reputable journals. He has authored a book, co-authored another book, reviewed seven (7) books and contributed to three (3) books. He specialise in areas of Algebra called "Groups and their Generalisation", "Non-Associative Algebraic Systems". His particular field of expertise is in the "Theory of Groupoids, Quasigroups and Loops". He also work on "Neutrosophic Algebraic Structures" and "Non-Associative Hyper-Algebraic Structures" and "Soft Quasigroup". He is enthusiastic to apply these areas of studies to Cryptography, Coding Theory, Sociology, Sports and Biological Inheritance.
After his graduate studies at the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta, he got an appointment at the Department of Mathematics, Faculty of Science, Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), Ile-Ife, Nigeria as an Assistant Lecturer and he has since risen to the position of an Associate Professor. Since his assumption of duty at Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), He has been teaching Algebra courses at undergraduate and post graduate levels, he has supervised 9 Masters of Science in Mathematics theses and he has supervised 7 PhD Mathematics theses. He has served as a member of some academic and administrative committees both in the Department, Faculty and the University. He has attended national and International Conferences and Schools. He is a Fellow of the Nigerian Young Academy (FNYA), Editor (Mathematical Sciences Section) of Annals of Science and Technology, Published by Nigerian Young Academy Editor, International Journal of Mathematical Sciences and Optimisation: Theory and Applications and International Ambassador of Africa Project Against Suicide (APAS). He is the Head of Nigerian Branch of Neutrosophic Science International Association (NSIA), University of New Mexico, United States of America and the Head of Human Resources and Management, Platinum Minds Global Company (PMGC).
Dr Jaiyeola served as external examiner of seven (7) MSc theses and three (3) PhD theses in Mathematics at various notable and recognised Federal and State Universities in Nigeria. Between 2015 and 2020, he served as assessor for awards of the Nigerian Young Academy in the Mathematical Sciences, Science and technology, and Chemical Science categories. Between 2013 and 2015, he served as resource person for the training of some of the best graduate students in Mathematical Sciences across Nigerian universities on Foundation Postgraduate Courses and Graduate Improvement Courses in Abstract and Linear Algebra at the National Mathematical Centre (NMC), Abuja, Nigeria. Twice (2011 and 2012), he led the Obafemi Awolowo University team to the 3rd and 4th National Mathematics Competition for University Students [National Mathematics Competition for University Students (NAMCUS) 2011 & 2012] organised by the National Mathematical Centre (NMC), Abuja, Nigeria and the teams came 1st on each occasion. He has chaired and worked in organising committees (and also been a representative) in conjunction with some international organisations and institutions such as Laboratory for Interdisciplinary Statistical Analysis (LISA), Department of Statistics, Virginia Tech, United States of America, Nigerian Academy of Science (NAS), The World Academy of Sciences-Saharan Africa Regional Partner (TWAS-ROSSA), The World Academy of Sciences (TWAS)-Young Affiliates Network (TYAN), International Mathematics Union (IMU), Centre International de Mathématiques Pures et Appliquées (CIMPA) and the United States National Committee for Mathematics to organise workshops, conferences and visit by international scientists. He is the current Head of the Human Resources of the Platinum Minds Global Company (PMGC).
