Engr Dr Raphael Terungwa Iwar is 38 years old and hails from the Tiv speaking area of Benue State-Nigeria. He holds a PhD degree in Environmental Engineering from the prestigious University of Ibadan, Nigeria. He is an academic staff in the Department of Agriculture and Environmental Engineering, Joseph Sarwuan Tarka University, Makurdi: formerly, Federal University of Agriculture, Makurdi.
His research interests are in Novel materials for water and Wastewater treatment, Agricultural and municipal soil, water and waste management systems, Renewable energy from waste biomass pyrolysis, gasification, anaerobic digestion and hydrogenation. He is also interested in artificial intelligence in Agriculture and Environment.
Engr Dr Iwar has over 8 publications in SCOPUS and Web of Science-indexed journals and has served as reviewer and special issue coordinator for top-tier journals. I have received a number of academic scholarship awards in the past and look forward to receiving more in the future. I am currently proposing a patent to be submitted for review towards the issuance of a US Patent.
He is available for multidisciplinary research collaborations with mentors and peers.
