Dr Elie F. Itoba Tombo, obtained a PhD in Environmental Health at the Cape Peninsula University of Technology -in 2018, completed a Magister Technologiae (MTech) in Environmental Management (CPUT) in 2010, Bsc Hons Degree in Earth and Environmental Sciences at the Univerisity of Western Cape, 2005 and Bsc Physical Geography at the University of Brazzaville-Congo-1996. Since 2007, He teach at both under graduate (Environmental Geology, Ecology, Environmental Management and post graduate (Environmental Economics) levels (Environmental Management programme at the Department of Environmental and Occupational). His research interests are Environmental sustainability; soil, water pollution and remediation; soil biodiversity, and microbial extraction/identification and bio-processing systems. He is involve in research and student’s theses supervision. Dr Tombo's research work is published in locally (DHET) accredited and internationally recognised scientific peer reviewed journals and conference proceedings. All published manuscripts are listed in the international citation index like the Thompson ISI, Scopus.
