Brief Biography (English)
Dr Rachida Houssa is the Research director at the National Institute of Fisheries Research of the Kingdom of Morocco. For nearly 20 years, Dr Rachida Houssa has led several Information System and GIS projects in the field of scientific research and development of fisheries and the marine environment. She has worked as an expert consultant with many national and international organizations (FAO, GTZ, Moroccan Maritime Fisheries Department, Mauritanian Maritime Fisheries Department, National Agency for the Development of Moroccan Aquaculture, French Agency of cooperation, etc.). Rachida Houssa is a Doctor of University, graduated from Louis Pasteur University in Strasbourg, Laboratory of Image Sciences, Computing and Remote Sensing (LSIIT).
