Gbasouzor

Engineer Dr Gbasouzor Austin Ikechukwu is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University, Uli Anambra State, Nigeria. Before joining the university, he served in the Nigerian Army corps of electrical and mechanical engineering for several years. Gbasouzor is a resource person for Motor Vehicle Mechanics (Mechanical), National Board for Technical Education (NBTE) from 2009 to date. He directed and coordinated the anti-cult security squad in both Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka and Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University, Uli Anambra State, Nigeria for several years. He is a departmental undergraduate seminar coordinator. He has supervised several postgraduate theses, undergraduate project works, and students industrial attachments in related industries. He has been published several in many scientific, engineering research papers, journals, books, book chapters. He has attended countless conferences worldwide; and chaired over 100 international conferences in the United States, the United Kingdom, Turkey, Togo, Ghana, and other African countries. He is an editorial and reviewer board member in different international and local journals. He is a Nigerian Representative and Advisory Board Member, American Academic and Scholarly Research Center (AASRC) since 2014 till date. As well he was elected an Advisory Board Member of the International Fellowship Program in Arbitration and Scientific Assessment (IFPASA) since August 2020. Gbasouzor is a Senior Member, International Association of Engineers (SMIAENG), Hong Kong; and has attended its conferences worldwide since 2010. He is equally an associate member of the Institute of Mechanical Engineers, IMechE, United Kingdom. In 2015, Gbasouzor organized and hosted the 10^th International Conference on Business, Education, Engineering, Science and Technology (ICBEEST 2015) 21^st to 23^rd April 2015 with the theme: Interdisciplinary Approach to knowledge: Synergy for Technological Development held at Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University, Anambra State Nigeria; in collaboration with American Academic and Research Centre, Delaware, USA. He equally organized and hosted the 16^th International Conference on Business, Education Engineering, Management, Science and Technology (ICABEEMST 2016), 21^st -23^rd September 2016, Theme: Interdisciplinary Approach to Knowledge, the Panacea to Epileptic Global Socio-Economic Growth, held at Chukwuemeka Odeumegwu Ojukwu University, Anambra State Nigeria, in collaboration with American Academic and Research Centre, Delaware, USA. He is happily married with children.
