Brief Biography (English)
Dr Gertrude Fomo is a postdoctoral Research Fellow at North-West University, South Africa. She has over 6 years of experience in applied Chemistry and 2 years of experience in Engineering. Dr Fomo's area of expertise is electrochemistry and now moving into solar cell devices. She is a Member of South African Chemical Institute (SACI) and Organization for Women in Science for the Developing World (OWSD). Dr Fomo is Co-Supervising 1 master student, has Mentored 6 Masters and 2 Honours students. She has Authored 16 research articles since 2014 in the international peer-reviewed journals and one book chapter. Dr Fomo speaks English and French.
