Brief Biography (English)

Samuel Enochoghene attended his primary school in Benin City Nigeria. Although he competed favorably in debates and had a passion for the English language, he loved mathematics and had an inclination for the sciences. He would then proceed to Regina Mundi Nursery and primary school to complete this aspect of his education in 1992, leaving as the best graduating student. That same year he was among the one hundred and twenty-one boys selected from the thirty-six (36) states of Nigeria to attend the Airforce Military School. He spent the next six (6) years, learning new cultures, how to survive and eventually graduate with distinctions in all subjects in a very challenging environment. This was also accompanied by awards in Physics and Economics. Although he seemed to prefer Chemistry, a lot of environmental factors saw him studying Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma in 1999. His university days were not interesting (although he learned some very important keys for life). He eventually grew to hate school. He managed to graduate in the year 2006 and believed that would end his forays in formal education.

The next four years would see him engage in the National youth service corps, work in three different companies (an ICT firm, a cable television firm, and an oil servicing firm, all in the city of Port-Harcourt). He would then land what he felt was the best of all so far - teaching in a secondary (high) school in Benin City.

However, while teaching, he had a change of mind after back and forth discussions with some important persons in his life. This then led him to pursue a Masters's degree at Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Nigeria. It was a very eventful experience. This began his foray into energy systems (particularly batteries). Towards the end of the Master's program, he was convinced that his Heavenly Father wanted him to pursue a PhD. And, immediately he was done with the masters, having made the PhD grade, he enrolled for it. 2019, not only saw him finish the research and thesis but successfully defend it - eternal gratitude to everyone who contributed to this.

Today, he is convinced that education (holistic, which very much involves but not limited to science, technology, and engineering) is critical to moving humanity forward. He feels opportune and privileged to teach. He hopes to spend the rest of his time on earth pushing the frontiers of true education.
