Brief Biography (English)

Eneji, Chris-Valentine Ogar (Ph.D.) was born on the 2nd of April, 1975, Eneji, attended Cross River State College of Education, where he obtained NCE in Environmental Education/Geography (1997-2000), University of Calabar, Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Education, specializing in Forestry and Wildlife Resources Management, 2004 and M.Ed in Environmental Education (2016). He proceeded to China Agricultural University, Beijing, People’s Republic of China, for an M.Sc. Rural Development and Management Studies (2010), Modibbo Adama University of Technology, (Former Federal University of Technology, Yola) for a Ph.D., Rural Development with a specialty in Gender and Environmental Resources Management (2015) and University of Management and Communication, Potsdam, Germany (2008), for a Professional Masters in Sustainability and Environmental Management. He has published well over a hundred articles in learned peer-reviewed international journals. Eneji got appointed into the services of the University of Calabar on the 16th of April, 2013 in the Department of Curriculum and Teaching as an Assistant Lecturer, but currently, he is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Environmental Education in the University of Calabar. Eneji has supervised well over fifty student's projects to his credit. Dr. Eneji is a member, of the following professional associations White Ribbon Alliance for Safe Motherhood International/Nigeria, Network on Water Sanitation and Hygiene in Nigeria, (WASH Project), Civil Society Network on HIV/AIDS in Nigeria, NGO Coalition on Environment in Nigeria, Budget Transparency and Accountability Network, Demand For Good Governance Network, International Institute of Environmental Management, Potsdam, Germany, International member, Idea Wild International, USA, and International Institute for Gender and Development, Beijing, China among others. Eneji is happily married to Mrs. Joyce Eneji and they are blessed with four children.
