Dr Mona Molham Elhalaby is a researcher in the Astronomy department at the National Research Institute of Astronomy and Geophysics (NRIAG), Cairo, Egypt. She has been awarded my PhD degree in astrophysics from the Faculty of Science, Cairo University in June 2022. She has completed it under the supervision of Dr Ali Takey (National Research Institute of Astronomy and Geophysics (NRIAG) in Helwan, Egypt), and Dr Nicolas Clerc [Institut de Recherche en Astrophysique et Planétologie (Research Institute in Astrophysics and Planetology) in Toulouse, France]. Dr Elhalaby's Master's degree was in spectral studies of Magnetar source (neutron star) observed by SWIFT mission. In her PhD studies, she studied the X-ray properties of galaxy clusters and determined the gas mass of clusters in the X-CLASS-redMaPPer (XC1-RM) galaxy cluster sample.
