Dr Theodora Ekwomadu holds BSc Hons (Applied Biochemistry) from Enugu State University of Science and Technology, AIMLSCN (Med lab scientist-Chemical pathology) trained at Nnamdi Azikiwe University Teaching Hospital (NAUTH) Nnewi, Nigeria and a licenced member of The Medical Laboratory Science Council of Nigeria. She also holds BSc Honours in Microbiology, MSc and PhD in Biological Sciences from North-West University, South Africa and an MPhil degree in Cancer Science from Stellenbosch University, South Africa. Dr Ekwomadu is a Biomedical Scientist and a Public health (mycotoxin-cancer) researcher. She is also a member of Society of Toxicology (SOT). Currently, she is busy with postdoctoral research fellowship at the Faculty of Natural and Agricultural Sciences of North-West University, South Africa under the food security and safety niche area. She has published research papers in accredited journals, attended scientific workshops and presented papers in several local and international conferences.
