Dr. Jude Steven Ejepu, a native of Akwu-Ukwu village in Idemili-South Local Government Area of Anambra State. Obtained my bachelor's degree in Technology (BTech, Geology)in the year (2004), Masters in Technology (M.Tech., Hydrogeology) in (2008), and Doctor of Philosophy (PhD, Hydrogeology) in (2016), all from the Federal University of Technology, Minna. He a member of the Nigerian Mining and Geosciences Society (NMGS) and Nigeria Association of Hydrogeologists (NAH). His job description includes teaching at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels, conducting and supervising geologic field mapping, and other practical based courses. His research interests in the areas of Hydrogeology, Environmental Geology, Remote Sensing, and Geographic Information System. Several principles in these areas of interest have been used to provide solutions to communities that have challenges assessing potable water, sanitation, and hygiene. Environmental and Socio-economic impacts of Mining, Geohazard mitigation, and Geothermal energy utilization are areas of research that is ongoing.
