Mary-Ann Dove is an experienced sports performance consultant and researcher with a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Sport and Exercise Science from the University of Cape Town (UCT). Currently an Honorary Research Affiliate in the Division of Exercise Science and Sports Medicine at UCT and a Director of The Locker Room. Her Research areas include: the socio-ecological barriers and enablers that impact talent development in sport (with a strong cricketing bias) in diverse societies, diversity and inclusion challenges in sport, qualitative research methodologies in sport and the art of sports coaching. She is passionate about guiding young sports people to achieve their potential on and off the field. She is skilled in developing better coaches to make better athletes through coach education and development programmes.
