Dr Wisdom Dlamini is an Environmental Scientist with research interests and expertise in earth observation (remote sensing) and applied geospatial modelling. His scientific and administrative experience spans a wide variety of areas such as biodiversity conservation, phytogeography, land management, climate change, and environmental policy.
Dr Dlamini's technical savvy also afforded him international recognition including outstanding scientific research in DigitalGlobe’s inaugural Worldview-2 Satellite 8-Band Global Research Challenge and as a Fellow for the Global Observation of Forest and Land Cover Dynamics (GOFC-GOLD) Data Initiative. He also publishes in peer-reviewed international journals and chapters in books. Dr Dlamini also reviews for various high impact factor international peer-reviewed journals. In addition, he regularly examines Masters and PhD theses and dissertations for higher learning institutions outside of Eswatini (Swaziland).
Dr. Dlamini has also held various Membership Positions in national and international environmental bodies and associations and has represented Eswatini (Swaziland) in many conferences and gatherings around the world. He has a great passion for leadership, personal development, innovation and entrepreneurship issues. Dr. Dlamini’s pastimes include amateur astronomy, satellite tracking, and bird watching.
