Brief Biography (English)

Prof Christiaan de Jager is the Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences at the University of Pretoria (UP). He is a Professor in Environmental Health at the School of Health Systems & Public Health (SHSPH) and also has an appointment as Extraordinary Professor in Andrology, Department of Urology, School of Medicine at UP.

Prof De Jager is also the Director of the UP Institute for Sustainable Malaria Control (UP ISMC) and the MRC Collaborating Centre for Malaria Research. His research interests are reproductive toxicology and environmental health, including malaria.
