Brief Biography (English)

Prof Olatunde Samuel Dahunsi has successfully distinguished himself as one of the few young Nigerian Researchers who have excelled in the core area of Renewable and Sustainable Energy Generation. His broad Research focus is in the areas of Waste Management, Renewable Energy Generation and Sustainable Agriculture.

Prof Dahunsi has a special bias for Biogas generation from different biomass and wastes as well as Biofertilizer production and utilization for Agricultural Sustainability in Sub-Saharan Africa.

He has Published over 70 Research Articles in peer-reviewed Journals most of which focus on the exploitation of African biomass and waste materials for biofuel generation and utilization, to augment the epileptic energy supply being experienced across Sub-Saharan Africa and to fully characterize the microorganisms responsible for the bioconversion of this biomass for advanced bioprocessing thereby creating a robust Microbial databank for the region.

Prof Dahunsi has Received some Recognition from globally reputed Scientific Organizations for his novel Researches. He served on the Editorial Boards of some reputable Journals while serving as a Reviewer for numerous high impact Journals.

In 2017, he got a major breakthrough in Biogas and Biofertilizer generation which was Published in Energy and Fuels Journal which afforded him broadcast in National dailies both in Nigeria and other countries.
