David Alastair Lindsay Coldwell BSc (Soc) London, BA (Econ), MA, DLitt et Phil, FCIPD, FRSA is Professor of Management and Human Resources Management in the School of Business Sciences at the University of the Witwatersrand (Wits). He worked as Professor of Management at the University of Natal, Head of School of Management at the University of KwaZulu-Natal and Visiting Professor at the Open University in England. He has also worked as Researcher for the CSIR, Research Consultant for the Chamber of Mines Research Organization in Johannesburg and Training and Grants officer in London. He is an accredited established researcher of the National Research Foundation (NRF). He has produced and acted as contributor to books and written numerous articles in national and international peer-reviewed journals such as, Journal of Business Ethics, Journal for the Theory of Social Behavior, and Entropy. He is Associate Editor (Middle East and Africa) for Personnel Review.
