Dr Saul Cobbing is a qualified Physiotherapist and Biokineticist, and currently a Senior Lecturer in the Discipline of Physiotherapy at the School of Health Sciences at the University of KwaZulu-Natal (UKZN) in South Africa.
His duties include Teaching and Supervising research for both undergraduate and postgraduate students. Dr Cobbing graduated with a PhD in Physiotherapy in April 2017 and is currently a Fellow on the College of Health Science's Developing Research, Innovation, Localization and Leadership in South Africa (DRILL) Programme.
His post-doctoral Research aims to develop and implement community interventions for the rehabilitation of people living with HIV and other chronic diseases, in an under-resourced district in KZN.
