Dr Josiline Chigwada is the Sub Librarian at the Bindura University of Science Education responsible for the reader and information services. She has worked in university libraries since September 2006. The organisations that she worked for are the Bindura University of Science Education, University of Zimbabwe, Zimbabwe Open University, and the Parliament of Zimbabwe. She holds a Doctor of Literature and Philosophy (DLitt Et Phil) in Information Science, Master and Bachelor of Science Honors Degree in Library and Information Science from the National University of Science and Technology, Bulawayo Zimbabwe. Her research interests are big data, open science, research data management, indigenous knowledge systems, information Literacy, open access, marketing library products and services, digital libraries, contemporary issues in library and information science, and the changing role of librarians. She has vast experience in academic librarianship and her career is centered on academic libraries.
