Prof. Peter Chatanga is an Ecologist with a broad interest in Ecology, Biodiversity, and ecosystem services. His interests are more focused on vegetation ecology, biodiversity and conservation, ecosystem services, wetland ecology, invasive species ecology, ethnobotany, plant functional ecology, natural resources management, and biostatistics. Currently, he is a Senior Lecturer affiliated with the National University of Lesotho in the Faculty of Science and Technology where he teaches Ecology and Biodiversity courses, as well as supervising postgraduate students. He has published various articles in international journals and presented at a number of conferences. He holds a PhD in Environmental Science from the University of KwaZulu-Natal and a Master of Science Degree in Tropical Resource Ecology from the University of Zimbabwe. He has a strong background in and has taught various courses in Ecology, Biodiversity, Botany, Biostatistics, and general Biology. He is result-oriented, capable of working under pressure, and has the ability to work in diverse teams to achieve the desired results. He is also interested in nature viewing.
