Bassey

Dr. Rosemary B. Bassey is an Assistant Professor of science education who serves as a facilitator in the Structure Labs. Her expertise includes reproductive toxicology, neuropsychopharmacology, dye chemistry, and medical education. She earned an M.Sc. and a PhD. in anatomy from the University of Lagos, Nigeria; and received a B.Sc. in Anatomy from the University of Calabar, Nigeria.  Alumni of the distinguished Fulbright fellowship, her career beginnings include teaching gross anatomy, histology, and embryology courses at the University of Uyo, Howard University College of Medicine, and Meharry medical college. A dedicated educator and researcher, Dr. Bassey have authored and co-authored over 20 scientific articles, in addition to invited presentations. She is also a member of several scientific organizations, including the American Association of Anatomists, Society for Neuroscience, Biological Stains Commission, and the Anatomical Society of Nigeria.
