Dr Omotola Onaneye-Babajide is an innovative, ingenious, diligent, and dedicated academic with technical skills and credible academic expertise in chemical and environmental sciences, environmental engineering, science education, and educational leadership. She is a seasoned senior academic, researcher, and entrepreneur having earned her doctorate in Environmental Chemistry specializing in renewable energy systems at the University of the Western Cape, South Africa in 2012. She has two decades of teaching and research experience across the three major domains of tertiary education having lectured in a foremost College of Education in Nigeria, the University of the Western Cape, and currently now at the Cape Peninsula University of Technology in Cape Town, South Africa. Her research majors on renewable and sustainable energy studies, specifically- biodiesel catalytic systems as she conducts related research and finds solutions for sustainable development with a focus on environmental sustainability and environmental engineering via collaborative projects and industry partnership.
